Samples for Beads & More/Stamp store

New Scrap/Stamp store is open in Frederick MD...called Beads & More because it started out as a beads store and has now grown into a rubber stamp and scrapbook store...yeah!!!

Here are some samples I made for them to use...they have hardly anything right now but will be getting lots more - one - Impression Obsession and who knows...

They didn't want to take this as a sample so they put a price on it in case someone wants to buy it....oh, well...

They are very nice people and I really hope they success in this venture....

Altered Page Gift Card Holder Kit

This is a holder for all of those Gift Card we receive. You can add a ribbon or wrap to keep it closed or I also like to use an old clip earring as a closure. I designed this kit for Altered Pages. My inspiration was my girlfriend, Diane. She is a teacher and she receives tons of gift cards mostly "Starbucks." The basic idea for a single card holder came from my friend Heather. Of course, I had to turn it into a booklet. This sample has four page/holders in it. You can make it one or an unlimited number of pages.

I asked a friend to help me keep my creative juices running during my breast cancer treatments.....this is the first of the Alphabet Swap...the idea is to not over tax either of us so we decide to do 3 Alpha's per ATC...as soon as I find the one Jan did for me I will post it...I been organizing every thing and now can't find anything....

Took time for some fun....this was the result....it is a 2 x 2 3/4 canvas created by tinting the canvas with ink pads, stamped on rice paper and covered the canvas using polyurethane varnish then adding worded papers, stickers and charms to complete the mini masterpiece....

A Time for Sharing Recipe Book

Decided to take time for some more art work. This is a take off of the No Sew Accordian Book that I made into a recipe book.....I have submitted this design to Jackie at Altered Pages for one of her kits. The recipes are some of my favorite that I use all of the time.

2nd RSM cover submission

Not as cool as my first but I decided I needed to do a second one....both are now in the mail so no more changes...keep in mind the designs need blank areas to add the title and other info on the cover....there are white snowflakes from tiny to large stamped on the background but they don't show up so well in this photo....the "holiday" words was formed by using Tim Holtz Grungeboard as a stencil then sprayed with Glitter Mist....

First work in months...

This is a sample of a cover I am designing for RubberStampMadness' Christmas issue...so many things are going on that I haven't had time for art so I decide I needed to give myself a dead line project and this was it....
