Tim Holtz As Time Goes By

Thinking about designs for this years workshops and publications....this is one idea I came up with...I used Ranger's Glue and Seal, Tim's Distress Stains, Adirondack Alcohol Inks, Tim's stamps, his Ideology items, his papers, die cuts, Configurations (those are the drawers that can actual close), and all kinds of fun things....the book title on the spine that is hard to see here is "As Time Goes By"...sure I may still tweak this a bit more but this is it for now...what do you think?...

The inspiration for this project was from an artist I saw in Maui HA - Vladimir Kush...I was so impressed with his work...a great surrealist...he has replace Dali as my favorite artist...

  1. This is amazing!! Love the colors, love the trinkets and Love how you used the title of the book to go with the theme of you piece. You do the best work!!!!

  2. I absolutely love this. I am trying to envision how the drawer opens and closes. Your creativity knows no bounds. Could THIS be a class? Must have one.

  3. This was influenced by the artist we saw in Maui...Kush...remember his picture and the sculpture of the lady on the book? his works...
